On the latest addition, with a recall option for the Warriors, Coleman commented: “It’s great to get Reagan over the line. He’s a player who I’ve been watching for 12 months at Wigan.

“He reminds me of Liam Marshall with his stature, how he presents himself, and his quickness when he carries the ball.

“He’s a great player who has a big career ahead of him, so it is really exciting for us to get a young name in the game who can really improve us as a team.”

Meanwhile, Maddox Jeffery recently left Wigan for a permanent move to join Featherstone Rovers in the Championship, while highly-rated youngster Tom Ratchford has completed a loan move to League 1 side Rochdale Hornets for the rest of 2024.

Jeffery, 20, played for Heworth before making his way through Wigan’s scholarship programme and signed his first contract for the 2020 season.

He scored 12 tries in 13 starts for the club’s academy side in 2023, as well as a brace in the Reserves Grand Final victory over St Helens at Robin Park, running out 24-0 winners.

The outside-back has signed a deal until the end of the 2025 season, having played at Featherstone Lions ARLFC as a junior.
