Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves to meet in Reserves Grand Final this weekend
Wigan Warriors host Warrington Wolves in the Reserves Grand Final this weekend!
Wigan Warriors will be hoping to add another piece of silverware to their trophy cabinet this weekend when they take on Warrington Wolves in the Reserves Grand Final.

The 2026 Reserves Grand Final between the two local rivals will be held at the Brick Community Stadium on Saturday, September 12, with a 12pm kick-off.
The Warriors, who remain unbeaten in 2026, will host the Reserves Grand Final after finishing top of the Reserves League and will welcome neighbours Warrington, who were runners-up in the 2025 final.
Wigan were crowned Academy Grand Final champions last Sunday, having beaten Warrington 36-16 at the Brick Community Stadium in front of a 2,329-strong crowd.
Matt Peet’s first-team will claim the League Leaders’ Shield on Friday night, should they beat Catalans Dragons, with the Reserves going for glory the following day in what could be a big weekend for the club.
“I thought the academy final against Warrington was a good game, good event, and great turnout from both sets of supporters,” said Peet.
“I thought the game was a testament to both teams and both clubs, and you’d think the reserves would be a level up again in terms of the experience of the players, two good clubs, and it should be good.
“For this to be another good weekend, we’re expecting a performance from them, and there are lads in that game who have had really strong seasons and could yet be called upon whether it’s in a semi-final or a final, so we need them to perform.”
Tickets for the Reserves Grand Final are priced at £5 for adults and £3 for juniors, with supporters able to purchase tickets from the Brick Community Stadium ticket office or online via the club’s website.
