York booked their place in the end-of-season showpiece following their 12-0 win over Leeds Rhinos in Friday’s semi-final at AMT Headingley.

After being crowned League Leaders’ Shield winners, Wigan earned a bye straight through to the Women’s Grand Final, which will be staged at the Brick Community Stadium on Sunday, September 27, 5:30pm kick-off. The game will also be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Denis Betts’ Warriors are on track to complete their second treble in as many years, having lifted the Women’s Challenge Cup at Wembley back in May, as well as retaining the League Leaders’ Shield.

But standing in their way are York, who are the only team to have defeated Wigan this year, with Leon Pryce’s side having run out 26-12 winners against the Warriors on home soil earlier this month.

Tickets for the Women’s Super League Grand Final are on sale now, with unreserved seating available in the East Stand of the Brick Community Stadium. Tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £5 for juniors.

This year’s Grand Final will also form part of a double-header, with the promotional play-off final taking place ahead of the main event between the winners of the Women’s Championship and the team finishing fourth in the Women’s Super League Shield Competition.
