Details confirmed for Dave Cleary's funeral

The former Orrell RU player and businessman passed away last week, aged 59.
His funeral takes place on Thursday, with the procession leaving Edge Hall Road - the venue where he played so many games in the Black and Amber - at 12.30pm and passing St James' Church and the Delph Tavern on the way to St Theresa's Church in Up Holland.

Hide AdDue to Covid-19 restrictions only a small, invited number of people are allowed into the funeral, which begins at 1pm.
But with so many wanting to pay their respects, the service will be streamed live.
Those wishing to attend virtually should join the Facebook group 'In Memory of David Cleary', where it will be shown.
This is also an online community group where you can share photographs and positive stories of David along with any words of condolences for the family.
