Musical theatre lovers and people who sing in the shower are being promised a great night in Wigan
Raise the roof with musical theatre songs at a new event in Wigan.
Calling all shower singers, car singers and closet musical theatre divas and dancing queens - this is your chance to sing your favourite musical theatre songs.
Tickets are still available for the Singalong the Musicals evening on Saturday, May 9 at The Unity Club, on Cross Street, Standish starting at 7.30p.m.
Organised by Wigan Rotary Club, their president Heather Hartley said: “The evening will give people the opportunity to let their hair down and sing songs that I am sure they will know.”
A song sheet will be provided with all the lyrics, so let your inhibitions go and belt out songs ranging from Carousel, Sound of Music and Oliver to Les Miserables, Cats and Mama Mia.
Tickets costing £10 are available from www.wiganrotary.co.uk or pay on the door.
All the profit from the concert will go to the Rotary Club’s charity account and will be donated back into the community to help local organisations over the coming months.
