Wigan borough artists will showcase their work - some for the first time - in a community exhibition
Let’s Shape Our Creativity’s first community art exhibition takes place on Monday.
Let’s Shape Our Creativity is organising its first show, which will take place from 6pm to 8pm on Monday at Gin on the Lane, in Swinley.
Some artists featured in the showcase will be displaying their artwork publicly for the first time.
The exhibition aims to highlight that anyone who creates is an artist and challenges the idea that art has to look a certain way or be made by somebody with qualifications.
Exhibitor spaces have been filled, with paintings, drawings, mixed-media pieces, a floristry display and lots of different creative styles on show.
Some of the artwork will also be available to buy, with LSoC taking no commission.
Visitors can wander around the exhibition, grab a drink from the bar and enjoy live music from Rob Jones.
