Sam's got a double

The 26-year-old has had so many jibes saying that he looks like Liam, played by Adam Gillen, in ITV comedy series Benidorm, that he took to Twitter to add fuel to the fire.

He posted: “Glad so many of you have noticed the hard work I’ve been putting into my acting career! #Benidorm.”

Sam, a former St John Fisher High School pupil, has been mocked for his supposed doppelganger since Adam joined the series, which also stars Sherrie Hewson and Tim Healey, in 2011 but has chosen now to embrace it.

His post was retweeted 50 times and got 187 likes.
