The women's health platform is expanding its UK offering with clinician-led hair loss care, online consultations and personalised treatment plans.

Hers has launched Hers Hair in the UK, giving eligible women access to personalised hair loss treatment through a clinician-led digital care service.

The programme offers online assessments, ongoing clinical support and a range of treatment formats, including what the company describes as first-of-their-kind chewable options for women.

Treatment plans are only provided where a UK-registered clinician determines they are appropriate.

The launch comes as hair loss continues to affect millions of women across the UK, with female pattern hair loss among the most common forms of the condition.

Customers begin with a private online consultation, after which a clinician reviews their symptoms, health history and individual circumstances before creating a personalised care plan, where suitable. The service also includes educational resources and 24/7 access to a care team.

According to Hers, plans start from £13 per month and include a free initial clinician consultation, personalised treatment recommendations and discreet delivery from a registered UK pharmacy.

Rebecca Holdt, VP of product, said: "Today, Hers is setting a new standard for women's hair loss treatment in the UK. Hair loss is a real clinical issue that deserves to be taken seriously, yet our research shows most women are coping alone, whether from embarrassment, a hard-to-get appointment, or the fear of not being heard.

“Hers was built to help bridge this gap, bringing clinician-led care to women on their terms. Every eligible woman gets a private assessment and a personalised plan built around her, so getting help no longer means waiting, wondering, or feeling dismissed. It's a meaningful step in Hers' long-term investment in women's health in the UK."

Dr. Kultar Garcha, chief medical officer of Hims & Hers, added: "Too many women are simply doing without. Stigma keeps them from even raising hair loss with their GP, and when they do, patients aren't always able to access the support and care they are looking for.

“That's where digital health can help, relieving pressure on the system and reaching women who've had nowhere else to turn. Through Hers, a woman can access a private, judgment-free assessment and a plan built around her, backed by clinician-led treatments, recommended only when it's right for her, and a Care Team available 24/7, whenever she needs it."

The launch follows the introduction of Hers' weight management programme in the UK and forms part of the company's wider plans to expand women's healthcare services in the market.
