Ban for Wigan borough 20-year-old who admitted drink-driving and failing to stop after hitting railings
Bradley Higgins, 20, was disqualified from driving by magistrates.
A 20-year-old man who got behind the wheel after drinking and crashed into railings has been banned from the roads.
Bradley Higgins, of Bolton Old Road, Atherton, pleaded guilty to driving a Seat Ibiza on Mealhouse Lane on September 12 while over the legal alcohol limit.
Tests showed he had 77mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, more than double the legal limit of 35mcg.
He also admitted failing to stop after an accident, after causing damage to railings.
Wigan magistrates imposed a 20-month driving ban and a £250 fine.
Higgins must also pay £85 prosecution costs and a £100 surcharge.
