Eight-month prison sentence for thief who targeted Leigh shops and used stolen credit card
He has been jailed for eight months.
A Leigh thief who stole from shops and used a bank card that did not belong to him is now behind bars.
John Blaney-Heyes, 33, of HMP Preston, pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to the theft of coffee worth £80 from Heron Foods in Leigh on July 3, several cans of Febreeze worth £226 from Savers on July 26 and five jars of coffee worth £41.50 from Heron Foods on August 6.
He also admitted handling stolen goods - a bank card - and obtaining services dishonestly by using the card to pay for items in Leigh shops, both on August 8.
A judge at Bolton Crown Court has now imposed an eight-month prison sentence.
