A youngster is behind bars until his next court appearance after pleading not guilty to an e-bike robbery

Not guilty pleas have been entered by a teenager accused of mugging another boy of his e-bike in Wigan and driving another two-wheeler without insurance and a licence on the same day.

The 17-year-old from Stockport, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before Manchester magistrates to plead not guilty to robbing a named male of a £1,100 Giant Talon E bike on September 24 and also riding a Sur Ron bike without the proper documentation.

He was remanded into custody until a further appearance at the same court on October 20.
