A Wigan thief has been barred from every Tesco store in the country after admitting to a series of shopliftings which always targeted the same brand.
Scott Barker, 41, of no fixed address, appeared before borough justices to plead guilty to seven counts of theft, mainly from Tesco Expresses from which he stole hundreds of pounds of cheese and chocolate plus chicken on one occasion.
He was granted conditional bail until sentencing on January 26 at the same court.
