A man who punched and spat on two people has been jailed for 10 weeks.

Martin Wilding, 34, of Greenside Close, Standish, stood before Wigan magistrates to admit to the assault of public servants Leon Ashcroft and Aiden Dickinson on April 21.
The court heard the attacks were aggravated by the fact that they were committed while Wilding was on licence from prison and that he was the subject of a conditional discharge for theft at the time.
He was ordered to pay £100 compensation to his victims.
