Police are asking for help as they investigate burglaries in four areas of Wigan

Police investigating a linked series of burglaries across the borough are appealing for the public's help.

Wigan's neighbourhood crime team is particularly interested in any footage from CCTV cameras, Ring/doorbell cameras and dash-cams.

They are looking for anything that may show people acting suspiciously or vehicles in the following areas:

• Orrell: Park Road, Upholland Road and Longshaw Common between 4am and 6am on October 14
• Lowton: Arlington Drive, Canaan, Glastonbury Avenue and Fountains Walk between 4am and 5.30am on October 16
• Ashton: Grantwood, Nicol Road, Wigan Road and Old Road between 10.30pm on October 24 and 2am on October 25
• Orrell/Up Holland: Moss Avenue, Moss Road, Cross Lane, Green Lane, Upholland Road and Crank Road between 5am and 6.15am on October 25

Police have conducted CCTV inquiries in these areas, but additional footage could prove vital in identifying those responsible.
