Haigh Hall want to see your photographs of special moments for a future exhibition
Find out why you should be searching through your albums and drawers at home for pictures which feature Wigan’s jewel-in-the-crown Haigh Hall
Haigh Hall want to see your old photographs of special moments at the hall or the wider estate for a possible future project.
The team at Haigh Hall said: “We're collecting photographs to help tell the story of how people have enjoyed Haigh since the estate came into public ownership in 1947. The images will be digitised and could feature online and in future exhibitions.”
Head to The Old Courts, Wigan on Saturday October 31 between 11am to 2pm.
Drop in with your photographs and their friendly team will scan them for the Haigh archive.
This event is part of The Fête of Wigan, a one day celebration of Wigan!
Can't make it on the day? You can still share your photos by visiting the Archives team at Leigh Town Hall or sending a good quality scan or photograph to [email protected]
If possible, please include the date the photo was taken.
