A Groupon offer is promoting stays at Pine Lake Resort, only an hour away from Wigan, from £54.50 per night. The resort lies just outside the Lake District National Park and is set around its own lake, with Scandinavian-style accommodation that includes studio apartments for two and two-bedroom lodges that sleep up to six.
The deal requires a minimum two-night booking. Studio apartments begin at £54.50 a night, while larger lodges start from £59.50 a night. Groupon states the offer runs on selected dates until 2027, subject to availability.
Guests have access to an indoor swimming pool and fitness facilities. The surrounding area provides walking routes, watersports and attractions in both Lancashire and the Lake District, with the Victorian seaside village of Arnside, the Lune Valley and the Yorkshire Dales all within easy reach.
