Farrimond made his senior bow against London Broncos earlier this year, and has recently been called up to Paul Anderson’s England Academy squad.
If selected, in-form winger Liam Marshall will make his 150th Super League appearance.
Wigan have won their last ten meetings with the Tigers, with Friday’s trip to the Mend-A-Hose Jungle marking the third this year in all competitions – having also claimed a 60-6 victory during the quarter-finals.
Wigan’s 21-man squad: Miski, Wardle, Marshall, French, Smith, Havard, O’Neill, Byrne, Farrell, Ellis, Cooper, Mago, Thompson, Leeming, Hill, Nsemba, Walters, Hampshire, Eckersley, Douglas, Farrimond.
