The 33rd Wigan International Jazz Festival came back to town with a celebration of some of the finest music around at he weekend.

Sinatra at the Sands was the opening concert in a long weekend of the very best in all things involving swing, syncopation and blue notes.
Other highlights included the Champian Fulton Quartet with tenor saxophonist Scott Hamilton, the James Morrison Quartet appearing as special guests of Wigan Youth Jazz Orchestra and Jeremy Sassoon’s Ray Charles Project.
