Wigan is to host the Mr and Miss England bodybuilding championships this Sunday
Perfectly-honed bodies will be on show as Wigan muscles in on a national contest this weekend
Wigan will host one of the biggest nights in amateur bodybuilding this weekend, as 135 athletes compete for the titles of NABBA Mr and Miss England.

The championships take place on Sunday October 25 at the Brick Community Stadium with the show starting at 9.30am. The event is open to the public.
Competitors range from teenagers to the over-60s and will take to the stage across bodybuilding and fitness classes.

The show is the last qualifier for the NABBA Universe, which takes place at The Fed in Gateshead on Saturday November 1, so places on the Universe stage are at stake. NABBA Pro cards are also on offer.

Four overall winners will each take home £500: male and female bodybuilding, and male and female fitness.
Spectators can also visit a live health clinic run by Look Good - Feel Good, which will offer blood work, urinalysis and intolerance testing on the day.

Tim, of organisers NABBA North West, said: "We're proud to be bringing NABBA Mr and Miss England to Wigan.
“We've got 160 athletes from teenagers to over-60s, and for many of them this is their last chance to qualify for the NABBA Universe. It's a brilliant day out, and we'd love to see local people come along and cheer them on."
NABBA Mr and Miss England is organised by NABBA North West.
