Women leading the way as Vanliners returns as Wigan Business Awards platinum headline sponsor
Organisers of the annual Wigan Business Awards have expressed delight at the renewal of a key partnership
Vanliners has confirmed its return as platinum headline sponsor of the Wigan Business Awards for a third consecutive year=.
The announcement comes during a standout year for the firm and MD Janine Rees, who was recently named Businesswoman of the Year at the Enterprise Vision Awards and is also a finalist herself in this year’s Wigan Businesswoman of the Year Category.
For Wigan Business Awards organisers Nichola Howard and Jo Leigh of Launch North West, the partnership also reflects something they are seeing more and more across the local business community: women backing women, while continuing to grow businesses, create jobs and support their wider communities.
Vanliners has had a busy year, continuing to expand and is currently recruiting as the business looks to strengthen the team further.
Launch North West MD Ms Howard said:

“Vanliners have backed the Wigan Business Awards at the highest level for three years, while continuing to grow their own business, recruit and invest locally.
Vanliners supplies van lining, racking and vehicle accessories and has built its reputation around supporting businesses that rely on commercial vehicles every day.
It has also had a significant year outside the day-to-day business, including bringing people together in memory of founder Dave Rees through the Dave Rees Memorial Ball, raising 50K in support for Wigan and Leigh Hospice.

The Wigan Business Awards will return to The Edge later on Friday November 6, bringing together finalists, sponsors and supporters from across Wigan and Leigh.
