Broadband firm Virgin Media has announced it will close more than two dozen branches across the country, including its Wigan town centre outlet.

The brand has announced it will close 25 locations - 18 stores and seven kiosks - by the end of April 2020. Around 110 jobs will be affected but the company said it was working to move as many employees as possible to remaining branches to avoid job losses.
