A Wigan 30-year-old has been accused of launching a brutal attack.
Luke Melling, of Edinburgh Drive, Pemberton, appeared before borough justices to face a single charge of causing a named male grievous bodily harm on April 6 2024.
He was granted unconditional bail until November 13 when he appears at Liverpool Crown Court.
No plea has yet been entered.
