Assault, weapon, domestic abuse and robbery charges are all denied by a Wigan 33-year-old

A young Wigan man has been remanded into custody after denying domestic violence and robbery charges.

Ethan Rigby, 33, of Dicconson Street, Swinley, appeared before a Bolton Crown Court judge to plead not guilty to controlling and coercive behaviour towards a named woman between June 1 last year and September 18 this year and that, during that period, he attacked her causing her actual bodily harm on three occasions and also vandalised her car.

Rigby further denies robbing a man of his e-bike on March 18 this year, twice being armed with a black-handled knife in public, and criminally damaging another woman's car.

A trial date of March 22 next year was set, although there will be case management hearing before then on December 11.
