After denying throttling and stalking a woman, a Leigh man is remanded into custody until his next court appearance

A Wigan borough 30-year-old has denied terrorising and strangling a woman.

Bradley Stradins, of Guest Street in Leigh, appeared before a Bolton Crown Court judge to plead not guilty to stalking a named female, involving serious alarm or distress on May 17 and causing her actual bodily harm on the same day.

He also denied intentionally strangling her between April 1 and 30 and threatening to set fire to her car on May 2.

A further charge of criminally damaging a man's car was also denied.

He was remanded into custody until a further appearance on November 16.
