Wigan Warriors awards night: all the winners as Liam Farrell earns Hall of Fame status
Wigan Warriors held their annual awards dinner on Saturday night!
Wigan Warriors held their annual end-of-season awards dinner on Saturday evening, with the retiring Liam Farrell being inducted into the club’s Hall of Fame.

In an impressive season for Matt Peet’s side, which sees them holding the Challenge Cup and League Leaders’ Shield, the Warriors now have a week off as they await a play-off semi-final for a spot in the Super League Grand Final, which takes place at Old Trafford on Saturday, October 3.
With the first-team using 35 players across the season, which has seen challenges through injuries and suspensions, the accolades have been shared out across the squad this year.
Retiring captain Farrell earned the biggest recognition of the night as he became the latest person to be inducted into the club’s prestigious Hall of Fame.
Farrell recently announced that he will retire at the end of the season following a trophy-laden 17-year professional playing career, having scored 152 tries in 429 appearances for his hometown club so far.
Adam Keighran was named the 2026 Player of the Year, which is selected by the fans and other key stakeholders of the club.
The Australian centre has been impressive on both sides of the ball for Peet’s outfit this year, scoring 20 tries and kicking 133 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions.
Voted for by his teammates, Brad O’Neill received the Players’ Player of the Year following a standout campaign in which he has earned selection in the Super League Dream Team for the first time in his career.
The 24-year-old hooker has started all 29 of his appearances this season, helping the Warriors lift the Challenge Cup and regain the League Leaders’ Shield.
A Lance Todd Trophy winner following a Player of the Match display in Wigan’s Challenge Cup final win back in May, Jack Farrimond was picked as the 2026 Young Player of the Year.
The 20-year-old halfback was enjoying a fine campaign and flourished during the period in which Bevan French was injured, scoring 10 tries in 19 games, before a hamstring injury unfortunately cut his season short.
Try of the Year is selected by those in attendance at the end-of-season dinner, as is tradition, with Farrimond scooping a second trophy for his spectacular solo effort in Wigan’s win over Catalans Dragons in the Paris fixture.

The Chairman’s Award from Professor Chris Brookes MBE went to John Duffy, who led the reserves to a dominant 42-0 victory over Warrington Wolves on Saturday afternoon in what marks an unbeaten season for the reserves.
